I love me some Yamaha built N/A engines. The V10 in the LFA, and now the V8s in the GS-F and RC-F.

Fine engines right there.

I hope it's right in the $70,000 price range, because any more than that and it's in over its head. Still, I'm sure it will be over 80, at which point it has a whole world of far more powerful competition to worry about.

Yeah, pricing will be very important. Otherwise they're going right up against the just announced CTS-V with almost 650 Horses under the hood.

Not to mention the I6 in the 2000GT. Yamaha has basically been providing engines for Toyota since forever.

Kinja'd!!!1

Yeah, the CTS-V is gonna be a huge problem for this. It's also likely to be priced too close to the M5, E63, and XFR, all of which have significantly more power.

More like fine tuning, rather than developing them.

Lexus' design style is kind of growing on me. i mean, it is outrageous as all hell with that Predator grill, but it just has a better presence than all of the BMW range with the exception of the 6 series Gran Coupe and M6.

Lexus? Manual? Hah. Hahahaha. No.

I assume you're referring to that mouse/button thingy? For whatever reason, in Lexus' pursuit to be different from Ze Germans they decided not to adopt the rotary dial for controlling the infotainment system. That literally controls a mouse icon for the infotainment system.

Lexus says it is a "state of the art, eight-speed automatic gearbox with manual-shifting capabilities", so I'm guess is somewhere in the middle.

Tell me about, I sent a few of those pictures to my gf and she said that she'd wear short skirt with no panties on those seats.

Now I need a GS F.

I changed my opinion the moment i saw a RC 350 on the pedestal next to the 435i coupe, blue versus metallic gray. The Lexus just had better proportions, mark my words in when they do the mid cycle refresh this era of Lexus' is going to look really good.

I'm coming around on the styling. It even sort of works on the new Camry (I can't believe I just said that). The Toyota SUV styling has gone all derpy, though.

For Example:

Kinja'd!!!

It's what pushed my wife toward the Mazda CX9 from our '09 Highlander. The CX9 is surprisingly fun to drive for a bigger SUV.

I can hear it now...

is that gauge cluster all digital? Kind of looks like it. Also that steering wheel material looks pretty plasticky with a few too many buttons, otherwise a damn fine interior.

Yup, take a note Toyota, your brand new 40 grand off road SUV is supposed to feel better, drive better and off raod better than a 12 year old Land Rover.
